IES is looking to recruit a reliable and organised Store Person to join our team, supporting operations within the Blackrod area while also taking responsibility for a satellite yard in Tebay. This is a hands‑on role supporting day‑to‑day yard and warehouse activities, ensuring materials, equipment and stock are managed efficiently, safely and in line with company standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receiving, checking and storing deliveries while maintaining accurate stock records.
  • Ensuring materials are readily available for engineers and site teams.
  • Picking and issuing materials, loading and unloading vehicles, and carrying out routine stock checks to identify and report shortages.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and compliant yard and stores area.
  • Placing orders for materials and equipment through supplier portals.
  • Oversight of the satellite yard in Tebay, ensuring it is well maintained and appropriately stocked.
  • Supporting general warehouse and yard duties.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in a stores, warehouse or similar environment is preferred, although not essential.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team.
  • Good level of physical fitness due to manual handling activities.
  • Basic IT skills to support stock control and ordering processes.
  • A forklift licence would be advantageous, and a full UK driving licence is desirable.
