The Role

We are searching for a highly experienced Senior Product Manager with a proven track record in product management, leadership, and team collaboration. In addition to driving product strategy and execution, this individual will be an integral member of our technology transformation team, leading the strategy and vision for our new product, IES Live, and playing a key role in shaping the future direction of our product portfolio. The ideal candidate has a strong background in AI or demonstrated experience integrating AI approaches, thrives in complex environments, inspires diverse teams, and aligns product direction with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the development and communication of comprehensive product roadmaps, ensuring strategic alignment across the portfolio.
  • Lead the product strategy and vision for IES Live, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that meet market needs.
  • Serve as an active member of the technology transformation team, driving forward-thinking initiatives for product growth and evolution.
  • Integrate customer, market, and stakeholder input to deliver solutions that meet evolving business needs.
  • Collaborate closely with product leaders, software architects, and cross-functional teams to maximise efficiency and drive cohesive execution.
  • Translate organisational mission and objectives into product strategies and measurable outcomes.
  • Define Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) in partnership with product and development teams.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor actions, and regulatory changes to inform proactive product planning.
  • Manage product release schedules by liaising with development, test, support, and marketing teams to ensure timely and successful launches.
  • Communicate the product strategy, roadmap, and commercial positioning to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Track and assess product performance metrics, championing continuous improvement based on insights and feedback.
  • Contribute to long-term R&D vision, roadmap, and pricing discussions with sales and finance teams.
  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative environment, supporting and developing team members with diverse backgrounds and personalities.
  • Drive the adoption of AI thinking within the product team, identifying opportunities to leverage AI for process optimisation, enhanced decision-making, and improved team efficiency.
  • Champion the integration of AI technologies within the product portfolio, working with technical teams to assess, validate, and incorporate AI-driven features and capabilities that create business value.

Extensive experience in product management within multi-product or complex business environments.

Exceptional leadership skills, with a history of motivating and guiding teams to achieve ambitious goals.

Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Strong analytical skills, with an aptitude for anticipating market shifts and driving strategic responses.

Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration and strategic execution.

Experience guiding development, sales, marketing, and R&D teams.

Proven ability to manage and bring out the best in diverse personalities and backgrounds.

Strong knowledge of artificial intelligence, with hands-on experience using AI technologies or integrating AI solutions within products or operations.

Ability to articulate AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders and lead the organisation in adopting AI-driven approaches.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience across both strategic and hands-on product management roles.
  • Background in enterprise software, technology-based products, or AI-driven solutions is a plus.
