Job Description

The Opportunity
A unique opportunity to join the finance team of a growing international software and consultancy company. Our software enables clients to design high quality and innovative buildings whilst minimising environmental impact. There will be an opportunity for the role to develop over time as the company continues to grow and the individual increases their skills.
The Responsibilities
- Be responsible for managing the sales ledger
- Be responsible for worldwide customer collection and reducing debtor days
- Resolve customer invoice disputes via internal and external enquiries
- Use and update Salesforce
- Manage direct debit and credit card payments
- Manage credit applications and setting limits
- Allocate customer payments on Sage
- Be willing to help the team in other tasks as they arise
The Candidate
We need a pro-active, self-motivated, diligent person who is keen to learn and develop new skills and is willing to assist other team members with other tasks as needed, taking ownership. Flexible to meet changing business demands.
Essential
- Previous credit control experience collecting direct debits and credit card payments
- Good numeracy
- Strong knowledge of Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, debt collection will be via phone and email for a worldwide customer base
Desirable
- Experience using Sage Accounts
- Knowledge of Salesforce software
