We're looking for an ambitious and people-focused Inside Sales Manager to lead and energise a team of five Account Managers across London, Sweden, and Finland. You'll inspire the team to deliver outstanding client experiences, drive renewals and retention, and uncover growth opportunities across an established customer base; creating a high-performance culture that delivers strong commercial results.

The Role

As an Inside Sales Manager at IDX, you'll be a critical part of driving customer lifetime value through strong team leadership, disciplined pipeline management, and a high-performing sales culture. Success in role will mean improving renewal performance, increasing account growth, and building a scalable, data-driven inside sales operation whilst nurturing a team of junior sales individuals to reach their potential.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Team Leadership & Performance Management
    • Lead, coach, and develop a team of five across multiple locations.
    • Set clear individual and team KPIs aligned to renewal rates, revenue growth, call activity, conversion, and customer retention.
    • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and coaching sessions.
    • Create a high-performance, accountable, and positive team culture.
    • Support onboarding and ongoing training for team members.
    • Drive renewal performance across the existing customer portfolio.
    • Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and new business generation within existing accounts.
    • Ensure effective management of high-volume sales pipelines and customer touchpoints.
    • Monitor forecasting accuracy and sales reporting.
    • Implement strategies to improve conversion rates and customer lifetime value.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Manage daily sales activity and workflow to maximise productivity and responsiveness.
    • Ensure CRM data quality, pipeline hygiene, and accurate record keeping.
    • Analyse sales metrics and trends to identify improvement opportunities.
    • Collaborate with marketing, customer success, and operations teams to improve customer engagement and retention outcomes.
    • Support process improvements and automation initiatives where appropriate.
  • Customer Experience
    • Ensure the team delivers a professional, consultative, and customer-focused sales approach.
    • Handle escalated customer issues or complex negotiations when required.
    • Maintain strong understanding of customer needs, buying behaviours, and renewal drivers.

About You

  • Proven experience in inside sales management or similar environment (ideally 1-2 years)
  • Experience in high volume Subscriptions, SaaS, Services, or recurring revenue business models.
  • Experience leading teams in a high-volume sales environment.
  • Strong coaching and performance management capability.
  • Demonstrated success managing renewals, retention, and account growth.
  • Commercially minded with strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Experience using CRM platforms and sales reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
