About the role
We are looking for skilled & enthusiastic Landscape Maintenance Operatives in the Devon & Somerset region. You will need to have experience and be confident and qualified to drive agricultural vehicles. You will be responsible for hedge cutting and verge trimming on main roads across the region to maintain and transform outdoor spaces. Working as part of a team under the supervision of a Team Leader, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner. Reporting to the Staverton depot, your work will be based around Taunton & Exeter.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Tractor Driver or similar role in the agricultural sector is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate and manoeuvre mechanised hedge / verge cutter machinery & other farming equipment.
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Can-do attitude and safety-conscious mindset.
- A full valid UK driving licence is essential - (category B) is preferred (covering categories F (agricultural tractors) & K (mowing machines or pedestrian controlled vehicles). Passing a tractor or specialist vehicle test with a provisional driving licence may be considered.
- A CSCS card is desirable.
