About the role
We are looking for a skilled & enthusiastic Tractor Driver with GM experience in the Devizes & Wiltshire area to carry out important work on the Street Scene contract. You will need to have experience and be confident and qualified to drive agricultural vehicles. You will be responsible for hedge cutting, grass cutting and verge cutting on main roads and across the region to maintain outdoor spaces. Working on your own and as part of a team, you will ensure that all work is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Previous working experience as a Tractor Driver in grounds maintenance/landscape/agricultural sectors.
- Ability to operate and manoeuvre mechanised hedge/verge cutter machinery & other equipment.
- General Grounds Maintenance machine work e.g. robot & ride on mowers, strimmers etc. beneficial.
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Can-do attitude and safety-conscious mindset.
- A full valid UK driving licence is essential - (category B) is preferred (covering categories F (agricultural tractors) & K (mowing machines or pedestrian controlled vehicles).
