At idverde, we provide a range of Arboricultural Operations including tree removals, crown thinning/reductions/lifting, deadwooding and tree planting, as well as ongoing tree maintenance. We are now looking for a talented and experienced Arborist to join our team in Bath & the surrounding area. Responsibilities

  • Proven experience as a Ground Arborist, with an eye for detail and passion for high quality tree care.
  • Assisting in tree pruning, felling and dismantling operations.
  • Operating and maintaining chainsaws and chippers and other equipment.
  • Managing ground-based rigging systems with a can-do attitude and the ability to undertake operations safely and competently.
  • Excellent understanding of safety protocols, care & maintenance of all equipment, plus ensuring sites are kept safe, tidy & compliant with H&S regulations.
  • Strong communication, organisation & problem-solving skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with clients and staff at all levels.
  • Full, clean UK Driving Licence. Will require driving vehicles and towing chippers.

Qualifications

  • Hold Relevant Industry Qualifications - training to upskill can be provided to progress career
  • CS30 - Level 3 Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross-cutting
  • CS31 / 32 - Level 3 Felling Small / Medium Trees
  • Level 2 in Safe Use of Manually Fed Wood-chipper
  • CS38 - Level 2 Tree Climbing and Aerial Rescue desirable
  • First Aid + Forestry Certificate desirable
