*IDS Services are seeking a Multi Skilled Operative to work within our team. IDS Services specialise in commercial refurbishments and installations for the catering and leisure industries.*
*Essential Skills*
· Proficient in using hand and battery operated tools.
· Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
IDS Services are looking for a quality multi-skilled operative to assist us in carrying out works to a consistently high standard.
* *Experience -*Experience in various different trades required, preferably over 3 years. The ability to carry out work to a high-quality standard and ensure the works undertaken are completed in a clean, tidy and orderly fashion is essential.
* *Social Skills and Team Work - *Must be able to converse professionally and in a polite manner with various different customers, as well as working well with other members of our team, including assisting co-workers.
* *Clean Driving License -*Driving License required to travel to various jobs within the UK.
* *Multi-Skilled -*Although the job focuses on general building and commercial kitchen installations, experience in joinery, Gas Safe and flooring would be advantageous.
* *Working Away –* Contracts can be Nationwide and willingness to working away is a requirement. Works are generally carried out during a normal working week (Mon-Fri). Costs are covered by IDS Services whilst working away.

*Skills & Experience*
* Attention to detail to ensure a consistent quality of works.
* Ability to complete various tasks to a high standard.
* Ability to problem solve and adapt.
* Mentoring of IDS team members
* Good skill levels using various tools and equipment.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Preferably have a good mix of general repair / maintenance / multi skilled / work experience or experience as a Manufacturing Operative / Fitter role with experience of using power tools.
* A good understanding of H&S and quality.
* Strong work ethic and positive attitude with the ability to work in a manual role.
* Willing to work overtime to meet business demands.
* Experience in a similar role with relevant skills would be highly advantageous: Multi Skilled, Property Maintenance, Handy Person, Fitter / Fabricator, Commercial Kitchen installer.
*Personal Attributes:*
* A genuine all-rounder, with strong practical skills and first-hand knowledge of general building trades.
* Flexibility, and a proven ability to diagnose, undertake and complete repairs to high levels of quality and customer satisfaction.
* Seen as a people person with excellent customer service skills
* As an outstanding work ethic and the drive to complete work to an excellent standard without close supervision
* A full, clean driving licence.
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: £25,500.00-£36,000.00 per year
