We are currently seeking experienced Class 1 Container drivers based in Stanford Le Hope. Days and Nights available.
Requirements:
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience (Preferred)
- Strong understanding of transport legislation and road safety
- Flexible approach to work
- DP World Card (Preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles to transport goods, including hazardous materials, in a safe and timely manner
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure all documentation is correctly completed
- Follow all company procedures and health & safety protocols
- Maintain excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner
- Load and unload goods, where necessary
- Communicate effectively with transport managers and site personnel
