We are supporting a major payments programme with two new contract opportunities for experienced Card Payments Processing Experts to support a processor migration initiative. These roles suit senior specialists with deep, hands-on knowledge of card processing environments who can operate confidently across business, engineering, and processor teams.
The engagement is part-time (2.5 days per week), offering strong flexibility alongside long-term programme stability.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the subject matter expert for card payments processing, including:
- Authorisation flows
- Clearing and settlement
- Chargebacks and disputes
- Scheme rules and compliance
- BIN configurations
- Product setups
- Reporting structures
- Strong background in card payments processing (issuer or processor side)
- Proven experience supporting or leading processor migrations
- Deep understanding of card schemes and scheme compliance
- Ability to bridge business requirements and technical delivery
- Comfortable working in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- Confident operating at SME level with senior technical and non-technical audiences
