Print Technician Location:East Sussex Rate: £100.00-£120.00 per day inside IR35 Hours: 37 hours per week. Mon to Thu 08:30 to 16:30 and Fri 08:30 to 16:00 Duration:2 months About the Role: A local authority client requires a Print Technician to provide print room services to customers. This position has become available due to cover required for annual leave and retirement. The printed information is sensitive including child protection court bundles, fostering and adoption. DBS check is required. Key responsibilities: Print production and bind, fold, laminate and otherwise finish documents to a specification and turnaround agreed with the customer. To stock paper and toner, replace components, clean and otherwise support the use of printers, copiers and scanners. Assist with the stock control. Manage of external contractors when on site to ensure ESCC H&S policies are adhered to. Maintain paper and IT based systems and records. Accurately input and retrieve data as required Ensure data is stored securely and confidentially where appropriate and that entries are kept up to date. Experience: Minimum 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above, or equivalent level. Good IT skills including PDF, database management, email and MS office. Good communication skills. Electric Guillotine experience. Experience of Ricoh Printers (Print Unit Hardware: Ricoh Pro C7200S, Ricoh Pro 8310S, Ricoh IM C5500 and Epson SureColor SC-T5400). Previous experience of supporting staff and/or the public. An ability to learn printing intricacies quickly. Experience of cash handling is desirable. JBRP1_UKTJ
