We are currently recruiting an experienced Engineering Technician to join an onsite production team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with solid assembly line experience who takes pride in quality, accuracy, and safety.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assembling mechanical and/or electrical components in line with engineering specifications.
  • Testing completed assemblies and troubleshooting any faults to ensure products meet strict quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble parts and components in accordance with technical and engineering drawings.
  • Test completed assemblies to ensure correct operation.
  • Inspect finished products and identify defects or faults.
  • Investigate, diagnose, and repair assembly issues as required.
  • Replace defective or faulty components.
  • Carry out basic maintenance on machinery and equipment.
  • Ensure all health and safety regulations and procedures are strictly followed.
  • Maintain clear communication with team members and supervisors.

Skills & Experience Required

  • 4-7 years' experience working in an assembly or manufacturing environment.
  • Proven assembly line experience (essential).
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
  • Competent in the safe use of hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
