Overview
We are seeking an experiencedService Transition Analystto lead and support the design, transition, and continuous improvement of IT services within a complex, regulated environment. This role is critical in ensuring that new and changed services are delivered into operations effectively, meeting business needs, compliance requirements, and cost expectations.
You will act as a key interface between project delivery teams and IT operations, ensuring that all service introduction activities are completed to a high standard and aligned with best practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead theservice design and transitionactivities for new and existing IT services
- Act as theprimary interfacebetween project teams and IT operations for service acceptance
- Manage theService Introduction processacross a portfolio of projects
- Produce and maintainService Introduction Checklists, documentation, and acceptance criteria
- Ensure all services meetoperational readiness, including support models, SLAs, and documentation
- Create and presentservice acceptance proposalsto stakeholders
- Identify, assess, and mitigateservice risks
- Develop and maintainIT support models, service catalogues, and operational procedures
- Work with stakeholders to defineTotal Cost of Ownership (TCO)for services
- Ensure compliance withregulatory and governance requirements
- ProvideRAG status reportingand track service transition milestones
- Collaborate with technical teams to validatetest strategies, performance, and capacityprior to go-live
- Drivecontinuous improvement initiativesacross service transition and design processes
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience inIT Service Transition / Service Deliveryroles
- Strong understanding ofITIL frameworksand Service Management principles
- Experience withITSM tools(e.g. ServiceNow, JIRA)
- Experience working in bothAgile and Waterfallenvironments
- Strong knowledge ofservice design and operational readiness
- Experience defining and managingSLAs, OLAs, and support models
- Ability to managestakeholders across multiple teams and suppliers
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in aregulated environmentis highly desirable
