About the Role
We have an exciting and challenging opportunity for an experienced Architectural Technician with a strong housing background to join our residential team. The role involves running projects, producing building regulation drawings, specification packages, construction drawings, detailing, and liaising with site. Residential experience is key; Architype familiarity is ideal.
Responsibilities
- Run projects and produce high‑quality drawings.
- Take care of building regulation drawings, specification packages, construction drawings, detailing and liaise with site.
- Mentor and develop junior project team members.
- Provide technical detailing and demonstrate a high level of detailing knowledge.
- Maintain excellent communication with clients and contractors.
Qualifications
- HNC/ONC or equivalent architectural qualification.
- Minimum 5 years post‑qualification experience, especially leading construction projects for medium to large private developers.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD.
- In‑depth knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction methodology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong technical detailing skills; excellent Architype/AutoCAD abilities are essential.
