As the IELTS Business Assurance Manager, located in London, UK, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the integrity of one of the world’s most trusted English language tests. You will lead audit, investigation, and security initiatives across the IELTS network with a particular focus on the UK / Europe / CIS region, ensuring compliance with global standards and protecting test integrity. Acting as the regional security lead, you will manage real-time incidents, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with global stakeholders. The role reports into a global team of 20 working across 4 countries.

In this pivotal role, you’ll:

  • Lead test security, audits, and investigations across the IELTS network
  • Manage real-time security incidents, risk identification, and escalation
  • Conduct malpractice investigations and recommend outcomes
  • Analyze audit and investigation data to drive compliance improvements
  • Support onboarding of new test centers through risk assessments
  • Partner with Product, Technology, and Operations on security controls
  • Influence and align with global partners to uphold governance standards

About You:

  • Strong understanding of governance, risk and compliance concepts including 3 Lines model
  • Significant, hands-on experience in audits, investigations and incident management
  • Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills
  • Experience in raising audit recommendations and working with the business to implement new or enhanced controls
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, global environment
  • High attention to detail and strong report writing capability including clear business communication
  • Willingness to travel in UK / Europe / CIS region globally if required
