We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Administrator to join our Finance team. This role supports the day-to-day operations of the payroll function, including intercompany transactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of key processes. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with monthly payroll processing and maintain accurate employee records
- Support statutory payroll reporting (e.g., P45, P60, P11D) and liaise with HR and Finance teams
- Coordinate intercompany recharges and reconciliations across multiple entities
- Manage filing systems, shared mailboxes and respond to routine requests from the business
- Support team in setting up bank payments in multi currencies and posting tax entries into finance systems
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and internal control procedures.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience (or desire) in an administrative role within finance or payroll
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and willingness to learn multiple finance system platforms
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience/knowledge of Sage 50 payroll
- Experience with other finance systems (e.g., Certinia, Agresso)
- Past experience involving bookkeeping skills or a basic understanding.
