The Corporate IT Support team exists to provide the first point of contact for all internal customer IT support queries for Idox plc. We are looking for a talented, hands-on IT specialist to join our team, with a view to building a career in IT Support. You will need an aptitude for problem solving, be able to quickly get to the root of a problem, and either resolve it or escalate to a specialist.
The role involves keeping a record of all incoming support requests, ensuring all key information is logged accurately before assigning a request. You will be expected to progress queries and keep the customer informed until each request has been satisfactorily resolved. Maintain the IT equipment inventory, equipment stock levels and organise delivery of equipment to Idox staff when required.
We would like the post-holder to arrive with an innate ability to provide ‘hands-on’ support, and ideally have experience of a busy customer help-desk environment. You’ll develop your own unique responsibilities but be expected to assist and learn from the other members of the Corporate IT Support team with problem resolution.
