We are looking for IT focused candidates to join our dynamic Hosting team within the Local Government Software Division. As an Application Analyst you will be part of a tight‑knit team, delivering high‑quality hosting solutions, ensuring service continuity and working hard to uphold customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Offer expert guidance, troubleshooting, and advocate best practices for deploying client‑server and web applications in a Windows Server environment. Lead incident management and escalations, ensuring the delivery of timely, high‑quality updates to customers. Collaborate with project management and delivery teams to streamline the onboarding of new customers efficiently. Uphold and rigorously maintain system build standards within the environment. Work closely with the service desk team to provide robust support for Idox applications on hosted platforms. Develop and implement innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency and proficiency of service provisioning. Adhere to Idox policies and protocols to ensure the safety of customer and Idox data. Stay abreast of emerging technologies through continuous professional development. To be successful, you should bring Minimum 3 years of experience supporting client‑server back‑office and web‑based systems (Apache; IIS). Experience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle. Strong understanding of the Windows Server environment. Proven scripting skills in SQL, PowerShell, Python and VBS. Knowledge of data centres, virtualised environments and administration, particularly using VMWare. Experience with IT Service Management (Incident, Problem and Change Management). Fundamental networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls). Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and security measures in hosted and on‑premises environments. Experience with monitoring tools such as PRTG and Zabbix. Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills. Experience working in or for Local Government. Basic project management skills for coordinating tasks, timelines and resources. Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork, adaptability and the ability to thrive under pressure.
