We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to join our Hosting and Cloud Operations team, supporting the databases for our customer facing solutions. This is a hands-on technical role focused on the operational support, optimisation, security and continuous improvement of business-critical Oracle database platforms hosted across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Amazon Web Services (AWS RDS) and Linux-based infrastructure.
The successful candidate will combine strong Oracle database administration skills with Linux system administration experience and cloud platform expertise. You will play a key role in ensuring the availability, performance, resilience and security of production environments supporting customers across the UK and internationally.
You'll be joining a team responsible for supporting and evolving mission-critical cloud platforms that underpin services for customers across multiple sectors. This is an opportunity to work with modern cloud technologies, Oracle databases, Linux infrastructure and large-scale hosted platforms while influencing the future direction of our cloud and database strategy.
