As a business with private investment and rapid growth plans, data quality, meaningful insights and reporting is core to our business operations and decision making, and we are recruiting for a Data & Insights Lead to join our Group change function. The role sits at the intersection of data, operations and strategic planning.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation in order to research and gather critical data and intelligence centrally. You will play a key role in transforming complex operational data into meaningful analysis that drives efficiency, performance and continuous improvement. This individual will help shape planning cycles, improve reporting and embed a strong data-led culture across the business. Key responsibilities:

  • Analyse operational, resourcing, and performance data to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports that track key metrics and trends.
  • Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Deliver both regular and ad-hoc analysis to support operational reviews, forecasting, and improvement initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with teams to define meaningful metrics and consistent measurement approaches.
  • Support continuous improvement and change initiatives with evidence-based analysis and scenario modelling.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reporting tools and systems.
  • Incorporate external benchmarks and industry trends to provide context and challenge assumptions.
  • Identify patterns, risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities, proactively sharing insights and recommendations.
  • Champion data literacy and best practice through informal coaching and knowledge sharing.

The Candidate:

  • Proven experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or operational reporting within a professional services or corporate environment.
  • Strong skills in analytics and visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau or similar) with advanced spreadsheet capability.
  • Experience building dashboards, interpreting KPIs, and delivering clear, actionable insights.
  • Confident communicator able to translate complex data for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Highly organised, analytical, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A sound understanding of GDPR requirements and industry best practice.
  • Maintain data integrity and quality by implementing best practices in data collection and processing.

To be successful, you will need to bring:

  • 3-5 years of experience working in data analytics and insights, with cross organisational data sets.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing relations with senior leaders and investors, and the ability to respond to complex data related questions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain data, trends and behaviours clearly and patiently.
  • A helpful, service oriented approach and willingness to support senior colleagues.
  • Solid understanding of data privacy, confidentiality and compliance requirements.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in understanding the Idox business and stakeholder requirements.
  • As well as being confident in working with data in tools and software you will be familiar with and able to navigate organisational software e.g. CRM, Marketing, HR Software to extract and manipulate data.
  • Ability to manage tasks independently while also working well within a collaborative team dynamic.
  • Extensive experience in data analytics, BI and reporting at a senior level.
  • Proven expertise in visualisation, dashboard design and executive reporting.
  • Deep understanding of data quality, governance, modelling and insight storytelling.
  • Ability to turn complex data into simple, meaningful narratives that drive decisions.

Additional desirable qualities:

  • Experience working in complex SaaS B2B business.
  • A relevant diploma or degree in data science or analytics.
