At Idos Health & Wellbeing CIC, we focus on your health and well-being by providing access to medical consultants, GPs, psychologists, and complementary professionals in a one-stop shop. Our diverse team includes medical doctors, sleep experts, mental health professionals, and complementary practitioners. We offer on-site medical services for businesses, public sector organisations, and individuals, including urine analysis, blood testing, ECGs, audiometry, and 24-hour blood pressure monitoring at our clinic in Newcastle.

Role Description

This is a part-time (30 hrs/week) on-site Administrative Assistant role located in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. The Administrative Assistant will manage day-to-day administrative tasks, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records. Other responsibilities include providing clerical support to the executive team and ensuring smooth office operations.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent customer care skills, with a welcoming, solution-focused attitude
  • Clear phone etiquette and strong communication abilities
  • Exceptional organisation and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small, collaborative team
  • High level of attention to detail and time management
  • GCSE Maths and English
  • A Level or equivalent

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in a healthcare, wellness, or clinic setting
  • Previous experience in an administrative or receptionist role
  • Bachelor\’s degree
  • B2B marketing knowledge (particularly in healthcare or wellness services)
  • Social media skills (e.g., managing Instagram, Facebook or LinkedIn content)
