Business Transformation Project Manager
Rate: £750 per day (Inside IR35)
Duration: 6 months (strong likelihood of extension)
Interviews: w/c 2nd September
Start Date: ASAP
Hybrid: 2 days on site in Central London
I'm looking for a Business Transformation Project Manager to lead a portfolio of high-impact operational change projects across engineering, supply chain, procurement and product functions.
This is a role for someone who enjoys getting under the skin of a business, challenging the status quo, and delivering meaningful operational improvements.
Some of the projects include:
- Leading the rollout of a bespoke engineering software portal
- Reengineering and optimising supply chain processes
- Driving the industrialisation and standardisation of construction operations
- Managing cross-functional transformation projects from concept through delivery
- Working with senior stakeholders to embed new processes, systems and ways of working
- Leveraging AI tools such as Claude and Microsoft Copilot to drive efficiencies across project delivery, reporting, documentation and operational workflows
What I'm looking for
- Proven experience delivering business transformation, operational improvement or change programmes
- Strong project or programme management background
- Experience working across operational functions such as engineering, procurement, supply chain, manufacturing or construction
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify and implement smarter ways of working
- Demonstrable use of AI tools to improve productivity and business outcomes
