Revenue & Billing Associate
Thames Water’s Wholesale Market Services (WMS) team seeks a motivated associate to manage billing, complaints and escalations, support wholesale billing and drive revenue and retail customer service targets.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with retail customers via email and telephone, delivering first‑class service to internal and external standards.
  • Share knowledge and develop best practices to support team success.
  • Perform accurate, detail‑oriented work that meets market and regulatory requirements and achieves agreed performance targets.
  • Identify opportunities to optimise best practice, minimise operating cost and reduce regulatory/market risk.
  • Support analytics and investigations to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong problem‑solving abilities in a customer‑service environment, with active listening and appropriate tone.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and experience with SAP, Navision, SAP CRM, Salesforce, SharePoint or CMOS is highly desirable.
  • Good financial awareness and intermediate Excel skills.
  • Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple workflows efficiently to meet KPIs.

Location & Hours

Hybrid – Clearwater Court (RG1 8DB) or Walnut Court (SN2 8BN). 36 hours per week with two site visits per month.
