Phoenix Academy aims to do something unique—uphold the highest standards in outcomes, behaviour, and culture whilst functioning as a genuinely warm, supportive environment for all children. This is no easy task and no ordinary work. We are dedicated to the vision that all children can thrive here, regardless of background or circumstance. Our children have one shot to get this right and we owe it to them to do everything in our power to enable them to graduate to a life of choice and opportunity.

Our school has seen some exceptional success over the past few years owing to the determination of our talented team. We approach our serious, often life-changing work with absolute focus—and a good sense of fun. We want our staff to be able to look back on their Phoenix working life as some of the best work they ever did in their careers. To that end, we help each other to get a little bit better every single week in the service of our children, our colleagues, and this community.

If moral purpose, children’s success, and a fantastic team spirit sounds like a great proposition, we would love to read your application for the role. Phoenix Academy is a flourishing mixed, non-selective secondary school and sixth form in Shepherd’s Bush, London, admitting students from ages 11 to 18. We are incredibly proud to have achieved an 'Outstanding in all areas' Ofsted result in 2024, a testament to our unwavering commitment to excellence in teaching, student achievement, and overall school performance.

This achievement highlights our dedication to providing the highest standard of education and a nurturing, supportive environment for all our students. As part of the Future Academies Multi-Academy Trust (MAT), we share their vision of excellence and offer a stimulating, knowledge-rich curriculum, complemented by a broad range of extracurricular activities and a robust pastoral support system.

Our inclusive community welcomes all children, ensuring they are challenged to be the best they can be and supported in every step of their educational journey. With the backing of our sponsors, Future, we work closely with top-tier teachers, leading universities, and some of the country’s most prominent employers to ensure that every student is equipped with the knowledge, skills, and ambition to excel in any path they choose.
