Exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider working across a data centre contract in the Cambridge area. CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of commercial sites.
The successful candidate will be AC qualified with a strong background in commercial HVAC maintenance and experience working on a range of air conditioning and refrigeration systems. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to progress further within the industry and break into a data centre environment while joining a company that offers ongoing training and long-term career development.

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 08:00 am – 17:00 pm
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Service and maintain split systems, VRVs, VRFs, VAVs, AHUs, FCUs, chillers, and associated HVAC plant
- Carry out fault finding and reactive repairs across air conditioning systems
- Conduct pressure leak testing and identify refrigerant-related faults
- Carry out compressor replacements and brazing works when required
- Monitor and maintain refrigeration and cooling systems to ensure optimal performance
- Complete service reports and ensure all logbooks and compliance records are kept up to date
- Provide a professional and client-facing service across all sites on the contract
- Maintain strong health & safety standards and follow company procedures at all times
- Assist with general building services maintenance where required
- Work independently across multiple sites while managing workload efficiently

Requirements:
- AC qualified – City & Guilds Level 2 or equivalent F-Gas qualification (Essential)
- Electrical knowledge beneficial
- Proven track record in commercial HVAC/building services maintenance

- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Must be able to provide copies of trade certificates
- Full UK driving licence required
