We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our Waste Water team in the Thames Valley North area.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring the health, safety and well-being of yourself, colleagues, contractors and visitors by always displaying the correct behaviours, complying with Health and Safety at Work regulations and Thames Water’s Health and Safety guidelines.
- Undertaking both reactive and planned maintenance, responding to alarms and fault finding to identify issues, fixing these or escalating as necessary.
- Performing planned maintenance of plant and equipment daily, installing new plant and equipment as required in line with current Standards and Regulations.
- Recording work and asset information to improve business performance, identifying possible future risks and recommending changes in the course of your day-to-day work and raising these for resolution as required.
- Providing specialist technical advice where appropriate, with up-to-date technical knowledge, coaching, training and developing staff under your supervision, including the apprenticeship programme.
- Delivering excellent customer experience and positively contributing to overall customer satisfaction by interacting with all of our customers.
