Responsibilities
- Assessment of technical information and development of solutions, including preparation of engineering deliverables such as reports, drawings, specifications, and data sheets.
- Lead the delivery of projects for process optimisation, asset reliability, and improvement.
- Liaise with internal and external parties, including regulators, to ensure project objectives are met and best‑value solutions are achieved.
- Analyse and address project risks to minimise programme and delivery costs.
- Check and review team outputs, ensuring compliance with Scope Objectives, Asset Standards, Legislation, Construction Design Management Regulations, and Health, Safety, and Welfare.
- Oversee activities of multi‑disciplinary project teams on site, ensuring adherence to delivery procedures.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance, support development and learning, and foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and excellence.
What you’ll need to bring to the role
- Degree level in Engineering or equivalent, or relevant work experience.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for water treatment facilities and experience with reverse osmosis operation and/or design.
- Understanding of project delivery principles in process industries.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety in the construction industry.
- Understanding of industrial process decision-making in engineering.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable conclusions.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Commercial awareness with financial acumen.
- Competence with the company IT systems and Office software.
- Full UK driving licence and own transport.
