Overview
The PR & Communications Manager is responsible for delivering strategic communications across the UK and US markets. This role drives storytelling and brand narrative through press, video, written, and digital formats, building and nurturing media relationships to secure coverage and manage both reactive and proactive communications. The ideal candidate will be a creative communicator with a passion for storytelling, strong media relations experience, and the ability to work cross-functionally to amplify the brand's voice.
Main Accountabilities
- Develop and execute PR strategies to support business objectives and brand positioning
- Secure media coverage for thought leadership, client wins, and awards
- Draft, distribute, and pitch press releases and feature stories
- Build and maintain relationships with key journalists and media outlets
- Advise on newsjacking and reactive press opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams to shape and amplify brand stories
- Identify, secure, and coordinate speaking opportunities for company leaders at industry events, conferences, webinars, and podcasts
- Support spokespeople with briefing materials, messaging, and presentation content for external speaking engagements
- Support award submissions and case studies in partnership with team
- Oversee editorial calendar for PR and comms activity
- Monitor, report, and optimise PR performance metrics
- Ensure all communications align with brand tone and strategic goals
- Represent the business at relevant industry events and media briefings

- Proven experience in PR, communications, or media relations
- Strong storytelling skills across press, video, and written formats
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build and nurture media relationships
- Experience managing PR campaigns and securing coverage
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and leverage news opportunities
- Strong organisational and management skills
- Ability to work across UK and US markets, understanding cultural nuances
