Your role as Paid Social Technical Account Director:
The Paid Social Technical Account Director is a senior, channel-leading role responsible for technical excellence, strategic performance, and senior client leadership across a portfolio of key Paid Social accounts. Operating at the same level as the PPC Technical Account Director, this role combines deep Paid Social platform expertise, commercial accountability, and people leadership.
Main Accountabilities:
- Leadership: Own senior relationships across a portfolio of key and complex Paid Social accounts. Act as the senior escalation point for Paid Social performance, strategy, and delivery issues. Lead QBRs, strategic planning sessions, and performance reviews. Advocate for client KPIs in all performance conversations and strategic decisions.
- Authority: Act as the Paid Social subject matter expert across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Snapchat, and Reddit. Own Paid Social strategy frameworks including audience, creative testing, and scaling approaches. Lead advanced troubleshooting and performance recovery plans.
- Performance, Data & Measurement: Own Paid Social performance against agreed KPIs. Ensure reporting is accurate, insightful, and action-oriented. Translate complex data into clear, concise communication.
- Commercial insight, Commercial & Growth Responsibilities: Continuously evolve the Paid Social offering through innovation across platforms, strategies, and processes. Support client retention and revenue growth. Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities. Contribute to new business pitches and proposals.
- People Leadership & Amplification & Development: Provide line management or senior oversight to Paid Social team members. Coach and mentor team members. Contribute to training and development programs.
- Operational & Process Ownership: Support workflow efficiency and best practice documentation. Ensure consistency of delivery across accounts.
Core Knowledge & Skills:
- Significant experience in a senior Paid Social agency role.
- Deep expertise in Meta with working knowledge of other platforms.
- Proven experience managing complex, high-spend accounts.
- Strong client communication and leadership skills.
Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
- Meta Blueprint or equivalent certifications.
- Experience working alongside PPC or other paid media teams.
Other Relevant Information:
- Work from an IDHL office regularly in line with the social team days; ensure regular visits to the core offices; be present with all levels of the Social team.
- Be available to travel frequently to client accounts.
