The Director of eCommerce is the senior Shopify authority within the Web Division, responsible for how Shopify is delivered, scaled and evolved across the group. Pragmatic, delivery‑focused and commercially aware, they are a strong communicator who can influence and align teams, build trust quickly with clients and internal stakeholders, and remain curious and proactive about platform evolution.
The role ensures Shopify solutions are architected and delivered to a consistently high standard, translating platform capability into clear, practical advantage for clients. Working closely with Client Services, PM, UX and Engineering, this role bridges platform expertise and execution to drive long‑term client success.
Key responsibilities- Own the quality, scalability and consistency of Shopify and Shopify Plus delivery across the group.
- Define and maintain best practice standards, architecture patterns and implementation approaches.
