Your role as Senior Content Manager: Part of the wider MTM Agency creative and production team, the Senior Content Creator / Videographer plays a leading role in the creation of high-quality video, photography and motion-based content, from concept through to final delivery, in collaboration with the Creative Director and wider team. This is a hybrid hands-on role combining filming, photography, editing and post-production, requiring a strong storyteller with excellent technical production skills and the confidence to operate independently on shoots, while also delivering polished edits and motion-led content in the studio.

While the role includes hands-on filming and content capture, it is primarily weighted toward post-production, with the majority of day-to-day responsibilities centred around editing, motion content creation and delivery across multiple client projects. Working from creative briefs, this position plays a key role in shaping visual output, maintaining technical excellence, supporting creative quality and helping evolve the agency’s content capabilities across a diverse client portfolio.

  • Content Creation & Editing
    • Collaborating with creative teams, account teams and stakeholders to interpret briefs and translate them into compelling visual narratives.
    • Editing video content to a high professional standard, including colour correction, audio balancing, sound design, graphic animation and platform-specific versioning.
    • Creating engaging edits for a range of outputs including brand films, campaign content, social assets, case studies, internal communications and digital marketing content.
    • Applying a strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, accessibility, aspect ratios and platform best practice across all deliverables.
    • Ensuring all visual content adheres to client brand guidelines, campaign objectives, creative direction and internal quality standards.
    • Managing multiple editing and post-production projects simultaneously, balancing quality, deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Filming & Photography Shoots
    • Planning, setting up and delivering live-action shoots, including lighting, composition, camera operation and audio capture.
    • Acting as lead camera operator or solo content creator where required, managing shoots from setup through to wrap.
    • Capturing a range of content styles including interviews, documentary-style footage, event coverage, branded content, social-first assets and campaign content.
    • Working confidently both independently and collaboratively alongside producers, creatives, freelancers or wider agency teams.
    • Balancing creative ambition with practical production requirements, timelines and budgets.
  • Motion Graphics & Visual Enhancement
    • Creating motion graphics, title sequences, animated overlays and supporting visual assets to enhance video content.
    • Applying motion design principles to elevate storytelling, engagement and campaign effectiveness.
    • Supporting simple animation requirements where appropriate across wider content outputs.
  • Equipment & Technical Ownership
    • Taking responsibility for the studio’s video and photography equipment, ensuring it is maintained, organised and fit for purpose.
    • Managing technical setup standards, equipment readiness and shoot preparation requirements.
    • Making recommendations for equipment upgrades, future production needs and technical capability improvements.
    • Supporting best practice in filming workflows, media management and post-production processes.
  • Collaboration & Creative Development
    • Contributing ideas, creative thinking and production expertise to help shape stronger visual outputs from the outset.
    • Working closely with designers, motion creatives, account teams and project managers to deliver joined-up creative solutions.
    • Supporting the wider creative team with technical advice, filming knowledge and production best practice.
    • Continuously exploring new creative techniques, production methods, formats and technologies to evolve the agency’s content offering.
  • Skills
    • Strong professional experience in videography, editing and content creation within an agency, production or commercial environment.
    • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
    • Strong working knowledge of After Effects for motion graphics and animation support.
    • Good understanding of Photoshop, Lightroom and wider Adobe Creative Suite.
    • Strong camera operating skills, including lighting and audio capture.
    • Experience filming branded, documentary-style or commercial content.
    • Strong storytelling instincts and editorial judgement.
    • Excellent organisation, file management and workflow discipline.
    • Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
    • Confident communicator with a collaborative, pragmatic and solutions-focused approach.

    • Photography experience.
    • Drone licence / aerial filming experience.
    • Experience in brand content, documentary or event filming.
    • Basic animation or motion design capability beyond editorial motion graphics.
    • Experience working with freelancers, production suppliers or external crews.
