Your Role as Junior Content Marketing Executive:

You will support the planning, research, creation and optimisation of marketing content across a range of client partner accounts. Working alongside the SEO, Content, Design, PR, Paid Media and Client Services teams, you will research industries, audiences and trends to create engaging marketing materials that help client partners achieve their business objectives. You will assist in producing digital and offline marketing assets including website copy, blog articles, email marketing campaigns, brochures, case studies, presentations, advertising copy and wider marketing collateral. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience across multiple marketing disciplines while developing valuable content creation, research and communication skills. You will work with a variety of clients and sectors, supporting integrated marketing campaigns that help drive awareness, engagement, lead generation and business growth.

Account Support

  • Maintain an understanding of client partner activity, objectives and marketing requirements
  • Support the delivery of content activities across multiple client partner accounts
  • Assist colleagues in completing content projects within agreed deadlines
  • Develop an understanding of different client partner sectors, audiences, products and brand guidelines
  • Contribute ideas and recommendations during campaign planning and content discussions
  • Build positive working relationships with colleagues and client partners where appropriate

Research & Insight Gathering

  • Conduct research into client partner industries, products, services, competitors and target audiences to support marketing activities
  • Identify relevant industry trends, news, statistics and insights to ensure marketing materials are accurate, engaging and aligned with audience interests
  • Support keyword research and research activities to identify campaign opportunities
  • Gather information from client partner websites, resources and subject matter experts to inform content development
  • Analyse competitor marketing activity, content and messaging to support campaign planning and idea generation
  • Support SEO, Content and Client Services team members with research for campaigns, proposals and marketing strategies

Content Creation & Marketing Collateral

  • Create high-quality copy that’s suitable for a variety of formats, including: Website copy, Blog articles, Email marketing campaigns, Case studies, Brochures and printed marketing materials, Sales collateral and promotional materials, Presentation and pitch deck content, Advertising copy, Downloadable resources and guides, Landing page content, Award submissions, News articles and press content
  • Write engaging content that aligns with client partner objectives, target audiences and brand guidelines
  • Support the creation of integrated marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels
  • Work closely with colleagues to develop effective marketing communications, campaigns and creative assets
  • Assist with content uploads and content management system (CMS) updates where required
  • Help ensure all marketing collateral is accurate, on‑brand and aligned with campaign objectives
  • Proofread and edit content, marketing collateral and campaign materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, brand alignment and quality before publication or distribution
  • Review and quality‑assure marketing assets created by colleagues when required, ensuring all materials meet agency standards

Digital Marketing Support

  • Develop an understanding of digital marketing channels and how they work together to achieve client objectives
  • Learn and apply basic SEO best practices when creating digital content
  • Support keyword research and content planning activities where required
  • Develop an understanding of how content contributes to wider marketing, SEO, GEO, PR, paid media and lead generation strategies
  • Support campaign execution across multiple channels as required

Learning & Development

  • Demonstrate enthusiasm for developing marketing, content creation and digital marketing skills
  • Maintain a working knowledge of emerging marketing, content, basic SEO and AI search trends
  • Be willing to learn new writing styles, industries and content formats
  • Participate in internal training sessions and professional development opportunities
  • Seek feedback from colleagues and managers to continuously improve writing, communication and research skills
  • Demonstrate curiosity and a proactive approach to learning new tools, technologies and marketing techniques

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across all agency departments to contribute ideas, share expertise and deliver the best possible outcomes for client partners

  • Undertake continuing professional development to ensure knowledge, expertise and experience remain up to date
  • Undertake any other duties that may reasonably be required and are appropriate to the role
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures and relevant legislation

Experience & Knowledge

Essential

  • Demonstrable interest in marketing, communications, content creation and digital marketing
  • Interest in creating content for a variety of channels including websites, social media, email marketing, print and marketing collateral
  • Examples of written work, personal projects or portfolio pieces
  • Research search skills with the ability to gather information from multiple sources and translate findings into engaging marketing materials
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing channels and willingness to learn
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and Sharepoint applications

Desirable

  • Previous experience in marketing, communications, content creation or relevant personal projects
