Your role as Senior PPC Executive: As a Senior PPC Executive you will be working within our Paid Media team managing a small portfolio of clients across multiple platforms and a variety of budgets. In addition to this, you will work closely with technical account managers, implementing and tracking paid search and display campaigns for a range of websites, across a varied client portfolio, with a view to generating targeted traffic and increasing conversions. Anyone coming into this role will have a keen eye for detail, along with a passion for the industry and team-work.

Main Accountabilities

  • Responsible for producing weekly/monthly reports with detailed commentary, insights and actions
  • Work alongside Account Managers and peers to drive performance and growth for clients
  • Build search, display, video, shopping and PMax campaigns
  • Optimise campaigns across multiple platforms, including Google Ads and Microsoft Ads
  • Undertake keyword research analysis
  • Budget management
  • Ad Copy writing and testing
  • Completing regular Search Query reporting
  • Manage a portfolio of clients’ paid search campaigns, across multiple networks
  • Conduct calls with clients and sales to discuss and plan campaigns
  • Setup, implement, track and optimise PPC campaigns across several search engines and markets
  • Undertake and be responsible for keyword research, analysis and strategy
  • Tracking setup (including tracking codes generation, goals and funnels setup)
  • Prepare and deliver monthly reports & attend monthly progress meetings with clients
  • Analyse PPC campaign performance and recommend next steps
  • Understand the objectives of, and participate in creating quarterly reports, client decks and future roadmaps in line with the agreed KPI’s
  • Delegate appropriate tasks to Executive

Qualification/Experience Requirements

  • Essential
  • Previous experience within a paid media environment and eagerness to build on this and develop within our company
  • Strong knowledge of the search engine marketing industry
  • Demonstrable experience in a PPC role gained from a search agency or in-house position
  • Evidence of advanced knowledge of common metrics within paid media e.g. identification of problem areas and propose solutions
  • Strong knowledge of Excel
  • Experience in search, display, video and shopping campaigns
  • Mastery of different interfaces such as Google Ads, Microsoft etc
  • Completion of the core Google Ads certificates
  • Desirable
  • Sound understanding of additional channels e.g. social, programmatic & retail
  • Experience in confidently building roadmaps and advising clients on strategy in line with agreed KPI’s and without guidance or support

Typical Goals and OKR's for the role

  • Maintain productivity at 70%
  • Ensure Time Tracker is 100% complete by the end of each day
  • All relevant technical certs to be completed and up to date - complete a minimum of 1 certification per month if expired or due to expire
  • Achieve 95% TAM renewal rate

This is a hybrid role split between home and office working, ensuring you work from your contracted office on the relevant allocated day (Harrogate Tuesday, Manchester Wednesday, Leeds Thursday). You must be available to travel frequently to client meetings.
