About Vervaunt
Vervaunt is a London-based eCommerce and paid media consultancy agency, focused on driving growth for aspirational retail brands. Our team has worked with some amazing brands, including The Frankie Shop, OKA, Self Portrait, Timex, Represent, Victoria Beckham, COS and more.
The Role
As an Optimisation Specialist, you'll drive the analytical engine behind our CRO retainers and projects. Owning the full research and experimentation process from data discovery to measurable impact. You'll work across luxury fashion, beauty and accessories brands to identify high-leverage problems, design rigorous experiments, and build a culture of evidence‑led decision‑making across your client accounts.
Data‑Led Research
- Lead structured quantitative and qualitative research programmes using GA4, heatmapping tools (Clarity, Mouseflow, ContentSquare), session recordings, on‑site surveys and user testing.
- Interrogate a funnel, identify meaningful drop‑off signals and distinguish noise from real opportunity.
Analytics & Insight
- Comfortable pulling and interpreting data across multiple sources including GA4 funnels, Shopify reports, behavioural analytics platforms, to build a clear picture of where and why customers aren't converting.
- Translate complex data into sharp, accessible insights for clients and internal stakeholders.
Hypothesis & Prioritisation
- Turn research findings into well‑structured hypotheses and a prioritised test roadmap, clearly connecting each idea to a problem space, customer behaviour pattern and business objective.
Test Execution & Analysis
- Build and run A/B tests using platforms like Visually, AB Tasty or Convert.
- Analyse results rigorously, understanding statistical significance, sample sizes, segment‑level behaviour and business impact and deliver recommendations grounded in evidence, not instinct.
Client Delivery & Reporting
- Own the optimisation delivery and roadmap across multiple client accounts.
- Present findings and performance clearly, communicating statistical and behavioural concepts to stakeholders who aren't always data‑fluent.
Collaboration
- Work closely with designers, developers, ecommerce consultants and paid media teams to implement winning changes and feed learnings back into wider strategy.
Your Experience
- 3+ years in a CRO, analytics or optimisation role, ideally within an agency setting.
- Strong analytical skills, comfortable in GA4, can build and interpret funnel reports, and know what good data looks like vs. misleading data.
- Hands‑on experience with behavioural analytics tools (Clarity, Mouseflow, ContentSquare or similar).
- A solid understanding of experimentation methodology, statistical significance, confidence intervals, MDE, sample size planning.
- Experience running end‑to‑end CRO programmes for ecommerce clients.
- Ability to communicate complex data and statistical findings clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management and client communication skills.
- Genuine curiosity about user psychology, UX and the ecommerce customer journey.
Nice to have
- Shopify experience, Figma/UX design skills, copywriting, experience with tools like Airtable for structured research documentation.
