Our team has worked with some amazing brands, including Dr. Martens, GANNI, A.P.C, MUJI, COS, Stussy, Self-Portrait, Bremont, Mattel, The Frankie Shop, Toteme, Timex and more.
Your role as Management Accountant
At Vervaunt, now a part of IDHL Group, we are looking for a commercially minded Management Accountant to play a pivotal role in our finance function within a fast‑paced, agency environment. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial reporting, while also acting as a trusted partner to the wider business. You’ll own core management accounting responsibilities and provide high‑quality financial insight that supports both day‑to‑day decision‑making and longer‑term strategic planning. Beyond the numbers, this is a highly collaborative role – ideal for someone who enjoys being visible in the business, building relationships, and developing a deep understanding of how the agency operates, from client delivery through to commercial performance. The successful candidate will be confident in communicating financial information to non‑finance stakeholders, curious about the work we do, and motivated by helping teams make better decisions through clear, relevant insight. You’ll thrive in an environment where priorities move quickly, problems are solved collaboratively, and finance is seen as an enabler of growth rather than a back‑office function.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including journals, accruals, prepayments, and variance analysis
- Own day‑to‑day financial operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and policy compliance
- Manage accounts receivable and payable, including billing, credit control, and supplier payments
- Maintain cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and multi‑currency bank reconciliations
- Prepare and submit VAT returns, Corporation Tax, P11Ds, PSA, and R&D submissions
- Support monthly payroll and KPI reporting
- Assist with year‑end audit preparation and statutory reporting
- Act as a trusted finance partner, providing clear insight to non‑finance stakeholders
What we offer
You will be part of a dynamic consultancy operation, which has expanded considerably over the last few years from an agency of 20 through to 60+. It’s an exciting time in the agency’s growth and you would be a key member of the team. Aside from working with some of the best in the business, we offer a variety of benefits all aimed at making your life that little bit sweeter! These include:
- 26 days holiday plus bank holidays and a birthday lie‑in
- Two additional days for wellbeing and a volunteering day
- Additional annual leave purchase scheme or trade leave you don’t use for extra salary
- Hybrid working (a mix of office and home‑based for many of our roles)
- Flexible working scheme
- Financial support from Salary Finance
- Company pension scheme and health care cash plan
- Private health care dependent on length of service
- Clear training and progression programme
- Free mortgage advice from experts
- Regular company events and awards
- Employee perks portal
- Plus many more!
