Your role as .Net Graduate Developer: As a Developer, you will contribute to building and maintaining solutions on our eCommerce and Content platforms using Kentico and Umbraco. Working under the guidance of senior developers, you will help implement custom functionality, integrate third-party systems, and ensure the platform remains secure, scalable and performant. You will assist our clients by responding to tickets via our Support Desk. This role offers the opportunity to deepen your skills in backend development, database design and modern eCommerce architecture while collaborating in an agile team environment.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Technical skills
- Write clean, well-documented code that follows agreed standards and specifications
- Debug platform issues with guidance and contribute to ongoing support via the Support Desk
- Working knowledge of Git, branching, pull requests, and deployment processes
- Familiarity with .NET, C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and .NET-based CMS platforms
- Experience with MS SQL Server, IIS, Azure DevOps, and version control
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, SASS/Styled Components, JavaScript, and TypeScript
- Experience with front-end build tools (npm, yarn, webpack, gulp, grunt)
- Awareness of performance best practices, including Google Lighthouse scoring
- Apply OOP best practices (e.g. interfaces, abstract classes)
- Understanding of MVC and client-server architectures
- Write reusable, maintainable JavaScript/TypeScript for both standard and advanced features
- Willingness to learn performance-focused coding and system architecture patterns
- Willingness to learn database management and manipulation via code
- Comfortable working in local development environments and using basic terminal commands
- Willingness to learn deployment processes, build/compile workflows, and containerisation concepts
- Collaborate effectively with developers, project managers, and account managers
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders and clients via written and verbal updates
- Provide timely progress updates through JIRA, Teams, and other channels
- Proactively raise blockers, seek guidance, and support continuous learning
- Take ownership of tasks, meeting deadlines and quality expectations
- Resolve support tickets promptly to avoid SLA breaches
- Accurately track time and contribute to task estimation and prioritisation
