About The Role
Your role as Digital PR Account Director:
- Leading on at least five clients and requiring minimal day-to-day support from the PR Associate Director.
- Maintains full visibility on all client accounts, monitors these and supports managers.
- Leading on the production of PR audits in order to drive the development of a strategy.
- Delivering a PR strategy for both retainers and projects, working a client brief into documentation.
- Overseeing identification and diversification of ‘measures of success’ that best fit the client brief and align with our proposed PR tactics.
- Oversees client and internal comms – ensures communication is clear, effective and timely.
- Identifying upsell opportunities, considering both additional PR tactics and other service areas from within the business i.e. Content.
- Keeps track of client renewals and break clause dates and is mindful of pushing for best possible team performance in the lead up to these (where feasible).
- Writing client-friendly content, proofing other team members’ work and making recommendations for development.
- Proactively identifies training needs (team and individual) and delivers training to develop others as often as is feasible.
- Run effective 121s with individuals.
What we’d like you to bring to the role:
- An in-depth knowledge of multiple industries/sectors and knowledge of a wealth of different PR tactics.
- A strong understanding of media needs and ability to identify content and stories that journalists will be interested in.
- Extensive knowledge of a wealth of link strategies/tactics and ability to execute these.
- Boast a wealth of media contacts and can point other team members in the right direction if/when required.
- Has an advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Understanding and effective communication of common SEO metrics e.g. DA, Trust Flow, Traffic etc.
- Experience of using industry SEO tools and applications e.g. Google Analytics.
- Experience of effective line management – multiple individuals.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic team player with a mature manner and an ability to remain calm and professional at all times.
- Excellent communication and rapport building skills with both team and client.
