Role Overview
We're looking for a talented and self-motivated Business Development Manager to join our Web & eCommerce team. In this role, you'll be responsible for identifying, developing and closing new business opportunities across our Web & eCommerce products and services. Working with both inbound enquiries and proactive business development activity, you'll play a key role in driving commercial growth and building long-term client relationships. Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop and close new business opportunities to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Own and grow a healthy sales pipeline through inbound enquiries, networking, outbound prospecting and cold calling activity
- Generate new business opportunities by engaging prospective clients and building relationships with key decision-makers
- Conduct client meetings to understand business challenges and present relevant solutions
- Prepare and deliver high-quality sales presentations, proposals and contracts
- Collaborate with Client Services teams to ensure a smooth handover and onboarding process for new clients
- Maintain a strong understanding of our products, services, processes and contractual obligations
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity and market developments
What We're Looking For
- Significant B2B sales or business development experience
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Experience selling Shopify, eCommerce or web development solutions
- Digital agency experience
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and maximise opportunities
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
- Highly organised, self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written communication skills
