Vervaunt is a London-based eCommerce and paid media consultancy agency, focused on driving growth for aspirational retail brands. Our team has worked with some amazing brands, including Dr. Martens, GANNI, A.P.C, MUJI, COS, Stussy, Self-Portrait, Bremont, Mattel, The Frankie Shop, Toteme, Timex and more.
Our fast growing Affiliate Marketing department is looking for an Account Manager to help drive our mission of becoming the affiliate agency for premium brands. Working closely with the Head of Affiliate Marketing and team of Executives, this role is perfect for someone who wants to build on their digital marketing career in the exciting, evolving affiliate industry. We work closely with our retail clients to build and develop strategies for growth, through sourcing and developing affiliate partnerships and campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring that your clients programmes are set up for success through ongoing recruitment and optimisations, sharing the performance of new activations, alongside identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Building profitable affiliate strategies that drive value to our clients inline with their marketing calendar.
- Completing regular compliance checks for your accounts and implement POA to combat when issues arise.
- Ability to think strategically, understanding your clients broader business objectives and how affiliate activity can contribute to this.
- Identify opportunities for your clients further than traditional affiliate partnerships, eg brand-to-brand, influencer and tech.
- Ensuring that campaign performance aligns with signed-off budgets and KPIs.
- Generating clear and concise weekly and monthly reports, highlighting key performance takeaways and providing actionable next steps.
- Keeping up to date with industry news, product and publisher developments, ensuring our service is best in class.
Client Communications
- Actively contributing to team meetings, bringing forth innovative ideas to enhance agency operations.
- Effectively contributing to client meetings and calls, with a primary focus on clearly explaining account performance.
- Articulating next steps with clients in a clear and concise manner, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of rationale behind strategic decisions.
- Setting timelines and deliverables after meetings, taking ownership of the management of project delivery, ensuring that agreed-upon timelines are met.
- Taking coherent notes during client meetings to support follow-up actions and next steps to form clear agendas.
Requirements
- 2-3+ years of experience in an affiliate marketing role working agency, brand or network side.
- Showcase strong understanding of the affiliate landscape and knowledge of affiliate networks including Awin, Rakuten and CJ Affiliate.
- Demonstrate a broader understanding of the marketing landscape and the role in which affiliates plays.
- Working across global accounts and understanding market nuances is desired.
- Line management experience desired.
- Strong reporting skills and experience working with data.
- Strong communication and relationship building skills.
- Highly organised, efficient and ability to use initiative.
- Brand aware - understands how luxury/premium brands differentiate themselves online.
- Strong attention to detail.
