Junior Data Engineer

This is a junior level role great for someone looking to kick start their career in tech or someone with 1-2 years of experience. We’re looking for a Junior Data Engineer to join our London Data team!EzyVet is looking for a Junior Data Engineer to join our London team in a hybrid model with 3 days a week in our Wimbledon Office. Our Data team is responsible for onboarding new customers data to our ezyVet software platform. As a Data Engineer you’ll be responsible for helping manage the extraction, conversion and insertion process of customer data. You’ll also help address post conversion tickets. This is not a normal data team, there’s a fair bit of coding involved so we’re looking for someone with good foundational knowledge in OOP (mainly PHP) and SQL. ## **A bit more about the role, you will:**You\’ll be partnering with our implementation teams, driving data conversion tasks required to help customers onboard to our productsEnsure that our PM tool and Jira are kept in sync to ensure timely completion of data tasks.Translating our customers’ requirements into technical solutions.A development background with soliddatabase skills – this isn\’t off the shelf ETL and data engineeringWorking knowledge of at least one programming language, bonus if it’s PHP Comprehensive knowledge of OOP Strong computer skills and a passion for the technical Great communication skills, engaging with customers and managing internal stakeholdersBonus if you have some experience in Agile methodologies, scrum/ kanban, AWS, C#, PHP, Python, Jira, Grafana, Confluence, SlackWe’re proud of the work we do, because our work matters.
