Team Manager - Wealth Management Glasgow City Centre An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an award-winning wealth management firm in the heart of Glasgow.
As the business continues to grow, we are looking to appoint an experienced Team Manager to lead and develop a high-performing team of Paraplanners and Administrators who provide exceptional support to our Financial Planners.
This is a key leadership role where you'll be responsible for creating a positive, collaborative and high-performance culture, ensuring your team is motivated, engaged and equipped to deliver an outstanding client experience.
The Role You will provide day-to-day leadership, coaching and development to a team of Paraplanners and Administrators, supporting their professional growth whilst driving operational excellence across the department.
Working closely with senior management, you will play an integral role in developing the team, improving processes and supporting the firm's continued growth.
Key Responsibilities Lead, motivate and develop a team of Paraplanners and Administrators.
Conduct regular one-to-one meetings, performance reviews and annual appraisals.
Coach and mentor team members to maximise individual and team performance.
Support recruitment activities, including interviewing and onboarding new colleagues.
Identify training and development opportunities to enhance capability across the team.
Promote a collaborative, high-performing and client-focused culture.
Work alongside senior leadership to support business growth and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You We're looking for an experienced people manager with a proven ability to develop successful teams within a professional services environment.
You will ideally have: Previous experience managing administration or operational support teams.
Strong coaching, mentoring and people development skills.
Experience conducting performance reviews and development conversations.
Previous interviewing and recruitment experience.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
A positive, collaborative leadership style with a passion for developing people.
Experience within wealth management or financial services would be highly advantageous.
