Overview
Job Purpose
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual. In this fee-earning but non-advisory role, you will support our Client Advisers in servicing employee benefits arrangements, ensuring clients receive an exceptional standard of service.
Key Responsibilities
Client Services:
- Provide scheme support for Group Risk & Health-care clients, delivering work to a high standard and within agreed time-lines.
- Draft client-specific written reports and correspondence.
- Liaise with insurers, introducing firms, and other stakeholders to establish benefits in line with client requirements and ensure scheme renewals run smoothly.
- Research product markets and obtain insurer illustrations, technical information, and provider updates.
- Analyse data to assist advisers with client recommendations (for both establishment and renewal).
- Identify, log, and escalate risks, breaches, or errors, ensuring mitigation actions are implemented.
- Delegate tasks to Assistants where appropriate to optimise resource use.
- Handle client requests, escalating to Senior Managers/Advisers when required.
Financial
- Record all chargeable client work daily.
- Support advisers with fee invoicing, WIP, debtor management, and overall client profitability.
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure all work meets regulatory standards and departmental requirements.
Business Development
- Support tender processes and on-boarding activities when required.
Key Skills and Experience
- Excellent client service skills – previous employee benefits experience is essential for this role
- Proficient IT skills in core Microsoft Office systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience of report and letter writing
