Our client is a highly respected independent financial planning firm seeking an experienced Senior Financial Planning Administrator to join their growing team. This is an opportunity for an experienced financial planning professional who enjoys taking ownership of complex cases, supporting Advisers at a high level and mentoring junior colleagues while maintaining exceptional standards of client service.

The Role

Working closely with Financial Advisers and the wider support team, you'll manage more complex client cases and play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of the financial planning process.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing high-quality documentation ahead of client meetings
  • Managing complex new business cases from submission through to completion
  • Obtaining provider information, valuations and illustrations
  • Ensuring client records are maintained accurately and in line with regulatory requirements
  • Completing anti-money laundering and compliance checks
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients, providers and Advisers, resolving queries efficiently
  • Supporting ongoing client servicing, annual reviews and policy servicing
  • Monitoring workflow to ensure service levels are consistently achieved
  • Providing guidance and day-to-day support to Junior Administrators where required
  • Maintaining high standards of accuracy while ensuring compliance with FCA regulations and internal procedures
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and contribute to operational efficiency

About You

  • Experience within an IFA or wealth management administration environment
  • Strong understanding of financial planning products and advice processes
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Experience handling complex client cases independently
  • High attention to detail and a thorough understanding of FCA compliance requirements
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to liaise with Advisers, providers and clients at all levels
  • A proactive approach with the ability to support and mentor other team members
