Overview
An established and highly regarded insurance brokerage is seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive to join its commercial insurance team in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity to take over and develop a well-established book of business generating circa £400,000 in income, built across a broad range of commercial classes throughout the Yorkshire market.
The Role
- Inherit and manage an existing £400k income book
- Handle a diverse portfolio of cross-class commercial insurance clients
- Act as a trusted Advisor, guiding clients through the insurance process with a consultative, service-led approach
- Build long-term client relationships through exceptional service and technical expertise
- Identify opportunities to organically grow and develop the book over time
- Work closely with internal broking and support teams to deliver best-in-class outcomes for clients
The Ideal Candidate
- Currently operating in an Account Executive role within commercial insurance
- Strong background in commercial insurance, handling mid to large-sized clients
- Highly service-driven, with a consultative mindset rather than transactional sales
- Proven ability to retain, manage and organically grow an existing client portfolio
- Strong communication, relationship management and technical skills
- Well-connected within the Yorkshire commercial market (desirable)
