Are you an experienced Commercial Account Handler looking to take the next step in your career? We\’re looking for a talented insurance professional to join a well-established, forward-thinking brokerage in Harrogate.
In this role, you\’ll provide high-level support to Account Executives, managing a portfolio of key commercial clients and ensuring outstanding service delivery at every stage of the client journey.
The Role
- Manage and develop relationships with a portfolio of key commercial clients.
- Provide technical support to Account Executives, ensuring efficient handling of renewals, mid-term adjustments, and new business enquiries.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation across multiple systems.
- Negotiate with insurers to secure competitive terms and cover.
- Ensure full compliance with FCA regulations and company procedures.
About You
- Proven experience as a Commercial Account Handler within insurance broking.
- Strong technical understanding across a range of commercial products.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work proactively within a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
- Cert CII qualification preferred (or working towards).
