b Overview /b p In this role, you will lead the placement of W I and related transactional risk across the deal flow, shaping market approach and terms. You will own insurer relationships and set placement standards, ensuring strong client outcomes. You will coach brokers, coordinate with origination and claims, and act as the senior internal authority on coverage and underwriter appetite. This is a market-facing leadership position at the center of a scaling practice, offering influence over placement strategy across international deals. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Lead and own all placement activity for the team across W I and related risk. /li li Define market approach, non-binding indications, underwriting calls, and binding strategy. /li li Manage insurer and MGA relationships across London, Europe and beyond; monitor capacity, pricing and appetite. /li li Set placement standards, oversee wording negotiation quality, and mentor brokers. /li li Coordinate with origination and claims to ensure placements align with client outcomes. /li li Represent the practice in market settings and advise on coverage, exclusions and underwriter appetite. /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Experienced W I brokers or underwriters seeking transition to broking with a current, deep network. /li li Track record of negotiating terms on complex, multi-jurisdictional deals. /li li Strong market credibility to engage with underwriters and hold ground on coverage decisions. /li li Ability to lead and develop a team and drive placement strategy across transactions. /li /ul ul li Leadership and people management /li li Strategic thinking and market positioning /li li Stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration /li li W I coverage knowledge; exclusions and policy wording /li li Underwriting calls and term negotiations /li li Market intelligence on capacity, pricing and appetite /li /ul
