An exciting new city-based MGA is seeking a PI Underwriter to join their team!

A highly experienced Underwriting Manager has set up this business within a wider group, with solid financial and capacity backing. They are looking for an Underwriter to come on board and be a key player in their growth journey.

The role will entail:

  • Underwriting new and renewal PI business (as well as some Management Liability).
  • Liaising with existing Brokers and nurturing those relationships, with a close eye on retention of the renewal book.
  • Developing and fostering new Broker relationships.
  • Input and development ideas for new business.
  • Maintaining an understanding of current market trends.
  • Staying abreast of changes to international licensing as per Lloyd's Crystal and other tools.

This role would be ideally suited to a UK PI Underwriter looking to gain exposure to international business - full training on this will be provided! However, an understanding of international business as well as D&O would be valuable.
