They are looking to recruit an experienced Independent Financial Adviser to join their growing team based in either Grantham or Newark.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Adviser who enjoys building long-term client relationships, delivering holistic financial advice and working within a supportive, professional environment.
The Opportunity
As an Independent Financial Adviser, you will provide expert financial advice across a broad range of wealth management areas, including investments, pensions and inheritance tax planning.
You’ll manage an existing client portfolio while also working closely with professional colleagues to develop new business opportunities.
This is a client-focused role where you’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional service while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and regulatory compliance.
Although based in either Grantham or Newark, there may be occasional travel to support other offices, so flexibility and a full UK driving licence are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing financial planning and wealth management services to existing clients
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
- Work alongside professional colleagues to develop new financial services opportunities
- Review client portfolios in line with agreed ongoing service arrangements
- Conduct detailed client meetings to identify financial objectives and recommend suitable solutions
- Research the market and provide tailored advice across investments, pensions and inheritance tax planning
- Maintain accurate records using the firm’s case management system
- Ensure all advice is delivered in line with FCA regulations, internal policies and industry best practice
- Work closely with Compliance to ensure all regulatory requirements are met
- Always act in the best interests of clients while delivering an outstanding level of service
- Promote the firm’s reputation through professionalism and excellent client care
About You
Our client is looking for an experienced Independent Financial Adviser with strong technical knowledge and a genuine passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals.
You will have
- Diploma level qualification in financial planning (or equivalent)
- A current Statement of Professional Standing (SPS)
- Strong technical knowledge of investments, pensions and inheritance tax planning
- Experience providing regulated financial advice within the UK
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- A proactive and client-focused approach
- High levels of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple client relationships
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle for business travel
Desirable
- Degree or equivalent qualification
- Experience with trust investments
- Experience using financial planning or case management systems
- Knowledge of data protection and confidentiality requirements
