A rare and highly sought after opportunity in the regional marine insurance market has become available to join a highly prestigious Insurance Broker as a Marine Underwriting Manager. A lucrative package on offer which includes a base salary up to £85,000 + bonus. You can be based anywhere across the UK.
Throughout your career as an Underwriter, you have typically looked after brown water marine hull and/or Marine Trades risks. You are able to advise on all technical matters and have built up a strong network of regional brokers. You are still ambitious and want to be in a role you find challenging, but perhaps you no longer wish to travel into the city or your circumstances have changed. You value flexible working and would like to be trusted by a grown-up employer.
Joining this well-known insurance business as a Marine Underwriting Manager, you will lead by example, write profitable marine risks on behalf of a binder, and work collaboratively with your highly experienced broking team.
