The predicted salary is between 60000 - 80000 £ per year.

Qualified solicitor with significant experience advising insurers, shipowners, charterers, P&I Clubs, and other marine sector stakeholders on a broad range of contentious shipping and marine insurance matters. Experienced in handling complex marine insurance disputes involving hull and machinery, cargo, war risks, marine liability, mortgagee's interest insurance, and yacht claims.

Strong background in both coverage and defence work, including policy interpretation, coverage disputes, recovery and subrogation actions, charterers' liability claims, reinsurance matters, and international trade disputes. Regularly advises clients on wet shipping claims, including collision, salvage, and general average matters, as well as dry shipping disputes involving charterparties, ship sale agreements, shipbuilding contracts, and related commercial issues.

Possesses excellent drafting and negotiation skills, with experience preparing pleadings, policy wordings, coverage advice, settlement agreements, and arbitration submissions. Familiar with English High Court litigation and international arbitration proceedings, including substantial exposure to LMAA arbitrations.

Commercially focused and client‑facing, with a proven ability to manage matters independently, coordinate multi‑jurisdictional disputes, and develop strong client relationships. Active participant in business development initiatives, industry networking events, and market engagement activities within the marine and insurance sectors.
